About The Author
Ken Daniel received his B. A. degree in Theatre from the University of South Florida. In 1967, he was drafted into the Army. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1969 and began a prosperous career including as an actor for the Atlanta Children’s Theatre. In 1970, he founded “The Piccadilly Puppets” and began a 27 year career at Georgia Public Broadcasting. Between his love for the outdoors and jack-of-all-trades abilities in the industry, Ken worked on countless projects, including the public television series “Georgia Outdoors,” he acted in commercials and feature films. Ken served as a NATAS board member. He has received ten Emmy awards. He completed his M. A. degree in Adult Education from the University of Central Michigan in 2003. The following year, he was awarded The Silver Circle Award for 25 years of service in the television industry. Ken taught television production at the Savannah College of Art and Design until his retirement in 2017.
